Bowed & Cracked Wall Repair

When a wall starts bowing inward or cracking, the soil pressure outside is winning. We stop the movement, hold the wall where it is, and seal the cracks so they stop growing.

Vertical steel I-beams

I-beams are set against the wall to stop it from bowing inward, secured with angle iron fastened to the floor joists. Once the wall is stabilized it's very difficult for a crack to expand, and the wall won't move in any farther than where we brace it.

Earth & deadman anchors

Earth (deadman) anchors fight a bowing wall from the outside and only come out about 3" from the foundation, versus the 4" that I-beams take up inside. Both methods stabilize the wall and keep the foundation secure against inward movement.
