How a failing basement becomes a dry one
Two jobs from the neighborhood, in our own words: the problem we found, and exactly what we did about it.
Project #1Dig, push, and drain
The wall failed from poor exterior drainage causing basement leaks and bowing every rain. We raised the house, excavated, pushed the wall back to level, stabilized it with beams, repaired the cracks, and backfilled — then extended downspouts, raised a window well, and graded so water flows away from the home.

Project #2Stone wall rebuild
The stone wall had water seeping through it and up from the cove joint where wall meets floor. We stabilized the home, installed drain-tile waterproofing and a sump pump, then rebuilt the stone wall with a skim-coat finish. It had failed from improper waterproofing and a walkway sloped toward the foundation.
